the best little girl in the world
After going to the doctor, she kept dieting. One day, a girl at her ballet studio named Julia talked to Francesca for the first time. As they got along, Julia asked Francesca to visit club together. Even though few boys came up to Francesca and asked her to drink with them, she refused and did not enjoy spending time there at all.

In addition to your description of what happens in the novel, Kaho, also write your opinions, speculations, interpretations, and feelings about what happens. Do you think Julia will be a good friend to Francesca or get her into trouble? How old is Francesca at this point? I'm glad to hear that she had the self-control to refuse drinks when they were offered to her. That can be hard...especially when your peers accuse you of still being a baby. Francesca sounds like she's quite mature.
